Named after the owner's beloved pet, Katie, this 3 BHK villa is part of a larger property where the ground-floor rooms are reserved for the owners' use. Upon entering the property, guests are greeted by a cozy living room on the first floor, featuring two inviting sit-out areas – one boasting a snug fireplace area with a TV and loungers, and the other offering comfortable sofa seating.
Adjacent to the living room, a dining area awaits, perfect for enjoying delicious meals prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances such as a microwave, refrigerator, gas stove, and water purifer. Two bedrooms with attached bathrooms are located on the first floor, while a spacious patio provides an ideal spot for soaking in the serene surroundings.
Ascending to the second floor via a staircase from the dining area, guests will discover a generously sized third bedroom/family room, furnished with three queen beds and featuring an attached bathroom. Throughout the property, guests will find amenities designed for comfort and convenience, including a 32-inch LED TV, heaters/heat convectors, electric blankets (for winters), and daily housekeeping.
FOOD:
For those who wish to indulge in home-cooked meals, the caretaker(s) can prepare delicious dishes at a nominal charge, using locally sourced ingredients. Alternatively, guests can opt to bring their own groceries or request the caretaker to procure them (additional charges apply).
PETS:
Meanwhile, toilet-trained pets are welcome at Katie's Abode, subject to a one-time cleaning/pet fee, and guests can enjoy a variety of add-ons such as open-air bonfires, barbecues, and the usage of indoor Bukharis (fireplaces) during peak winters.
PARKING AND ACCOMMODATION OF DRIVER/HELP:
With parking available for 2-3 cars outside the property, and additional accommodation options for house help/nanny available (charges apply), Katie's Abode promises a serene mountain getaway for families seeking respite amidst the natural beauty of Hartola.
Additional Charges:
i. A one-time cleaning/pet fee of Rs. 2000 is applicable for hosting guests with pets.
ii. Extra duty charges for night check-ins from 8 pm to 4 am are ?2000.
iii. Extra duty charges for morning check-out from 4 am to 10 am are ?2000.
iv. Open-air bonfire: Rs. 1500 per use (approx. 3 hours).
v. Barbecue: Rs. 1000 per use.
vi. Usage of indoor Bukhari (fireplaces): Rs. 1500 per usage (per Bukhari). Indoor Bukharis are only recommended during peak winters.
vii. Additional Linen change: INR 500 per bed (Complementary Linen change is provided every 4th Day if your booking is longer than a week).
viii. Grocery conveyance charges (if applicable): To be paid to the caretaker.
